1. Products

We make original fragrances that are inspired by well-known perfumes. Product photos are for illustration; bottle, packaging and colour may vary slightly between batches.

2. “Inspired-by” disclaimer

Descent Perfumes is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any of the original fragrance houses or designer brands mentioned on this site. Brand and perfume names are used only to describe the scent family our fragrances are inspired by, and remain the trademarks of their respective owners. Our products are not the original perfumes and are not sold as such.

3. Fragrance disclaimer

• Perfume smells different on every person — skin chemistry, climate and what you eat all change how a scent develops and how long it lasts.
• Please patch-test on a small area of skin and wait 24 hours before regular use. Stop using it if you notice redness, itching or irritation.
• For external use only. Keep away from eyes, children, heat and open flame.

4. Prices and payment

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR, ₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping is shown separately at checkout.
• We may change prices at any time, but the price you see when you place an order is the price you pay.
• If an item is listed at a clearly wrong price because of an error, we may cancel that order and refund any amount paid in full.
• We accept UPI, cards and net banking through Razorpay, and cash on delivery (COD).

5. Orders and confirmation

• Your order is confirmed once you see the order confirmation with an order ID on screen. We also send it by email (if you gave one) and/or SMS.
• We may cancel an order if a product is out of stock, the address is not serviceable, the payment fails or looks fraudulent, or the order breaks these terms. Any amount paid is refunded in full.
• You can cancel free of charge before the order is shipped by contacting us. Once shipped, our Refund & Returns policy applies.

6. Cash on Delivery

• COD is available on serviceable PIN codes, as shown at checkout.
• Please keep the exact amount ready; the courier may not carry change.
• Refusing a COD parcel without a valid reason costs us two-way shipping. If COD orders are repeatedly refused, we may disable COD for that number or address and ask for online payment on future orders.

7. Shipping

We ship across India. Dispatch and delivery times, and shipping charges, are explained in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates and can be affected by the courier, weather or local restrictions.

8. Returns, replacements and refunds

• For hygiene reasons, opened or used perfumes cannot be returned.
• If your parcel arrives damaged, leaking or with the wrong item, tell us within 48 hours of delivery with an unboxing video (recorded continuously from the sealed parcel). We will send a replacement or refund you.

9. Your account

You sign in with a one-time password sent to your mobile, or with Google. Keep your phone and accounts secure — orders placed after a valid sign-in are treated as yours. Give us accurate contact and delivery details.

10. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site: no fraudulent orders, no attempts to break or overload it, no scraping, and no reselling of our products as original designer perfumes.

11. Intellectual property

The Descent Perfumes name, logo, photos, videos and website content belong to us and may not be copied without written permission. Third-party brand names belong to their owners (see section 2).

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for reactions where a patch test was not done or the product was misused, or for delays caused by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first — most issues are solved quickly. Any dispute that can’t be resolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
